Purchasing directly from the producers
In each of the areas where coffee grows, our agronomists and technicians identify the best producers according to illy. Suppliers are selected based on the specific situation in each country.
We recognize quality and guarantee a profitable price for growers: we take the price from international market values and add a fair margin to reflect and reward the extra effort dedicated to achieving top quality.
Environmental sustainability
The first coffee produced using regenerative practices
In order to mitigate the effects of climate change on the plantations, we have put forward a sustainable agricultural model that promotes practices for the ecosystem geared toward adaptation, alleviation, and regeneration. Thanks to our collaboration with coffee producers in the Cerrado Mineiro region of Brazil, which has lasted over 30 years, our first coffee 100% sourced from regenerative agriculture with regenagri® certification has been born.

Alongside producers and coffee growers
We provide training and incentives: through our agronomists, we share our 80 years of knowledge and experience in the business with producers. This exchange is made in pursuit of quality and respect for the environment.
We build a community and a culture based around excellence all over the world, creating prizes and a digital community (Circolo illy) that contribute to spreading the culture of coffee, all while prioritizing sustainable quality.
