Warranty Policy

KERRY COFFEE (HONG KONG) LIMITED (hereinafter called “Kerry Coffee”) provides a period of One Year carry-in labor warranty for illy coffee machine, commencing the date of purchase as stated on the receipt / invoice based on the terms and conditions set forth hereunder:

By successfully registering the product, customer will be entitled to the Warranty, provided that the original proof of purchase document must be presented upon the request of Kerry Coffee, when Service is required. The warranty does not apply to parallel imported products or products not purchased from Kerry Coffee or its authorized dealers in Hong Kong or Macau. In particular, the warranty covers any potential manufacturing defects present in the product, subject to the warranty period and normal use, will be entitled to free carry-in check-up service. Replacements of parts, consumable items, lost parts will be quoted separately case by case.

Kerry Coffee DO NOT accept any change of mind replacement when a customer simply changes their mind about a good or service, any repair or replacement service offered will be based on original purchased item and its colour.

Upon receipt of registration request, the customer will be contacted by Kerry Coffee, customer must provide the receipt copy of the purchase, with item details and date of purchase, to complete the warranty registration. Any registration submission without the receipt copy, or the item is purchased from unauthorized retail channel, will not be considered to be covered by the warranty.

 

illycaffè S.p.A. and Kerry Coffee declines all liability for any direct or indirect damage that may be caused to persons, property or household pets as a result of failure to comply with the instructions contained in the user manual. The original packaging and receipt should be kept in case the machine has to be sent to a service center.

In case of any dispute, the decision of Kerry Coffee (Hong Kong) Limited shall be final.

Limitation on warranty

The warranty does not cover the following cases:

  • Defects caused by limescale or failure to carry out de-scaling periodically.
  • Defects caused by operating the machine at a voltage other than that stated on the machine rating plate and in the instruction manual.
  • Defects caused by improper use, or use which is not in accordance with the instruction manual.
  • Tampering by service centers or individuals not authorized by illycaffè or by Kerry Coffee.
  • Damage caused by transporting the product without its original packaging, or in unsuitable packaging.

NOTE: These terms and conditions are valid for Hong Kong but do not replace the laws of the state country in which the product is sold and used.
